Taiwan Hot Spot- Kaohsiung
Taiwan is an island that is located in the continent of Asia. It is so beautiful that when the Portuguese go through the ocean they said "Formosa", which means beautiful.
I want to recommend- Kaohsiung. Kaohsiung is located in the southern part of Taiwan, it is the largest industrial center in Taiwan. Also there are many hot tourist places. For example, Heart of love river, dome of light, The museum of fine art, The Pier-2 Art Center, E-DA theme park, Liuhe tourist night market, and the Bulao hot spring.
First, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Art. The museum is located at Gushan District, is the third public art museum in Taiwan. There are four floors in the building and have 16 exhibition rooms, inside has an auditorium which can contain 368 people. By going to Kaohsiung we can know more culture about Taiwan or Kaohsiung.
One of the famous fine artworks is called" The Real Mirror" by Hung, Su-chen. The idea comes from " The False Mirror, 1928" by René Magritte. She compared her work to Magritte, she thinks her work is more ideogenetic. This artwork presents an eye on a big screen, and outer ring of the pupil is the pure clouds. The center of the pupil is the person who is take the photo the people n New York, which is the creator of this project.
Second, The Liuhe tourist night market is a very popular attraction place. Inside the night market, there are many different kinds of cheap delicious food, such as the stinky tofu, oyster omelet, roasted scallops, pig blood cake etc. The night market is a very important special culture all over Taiwan. You have to try it, you will love it.
Third, dome of light, by the Italian artist Narcissus Quagulita. It represent four kinds of power, water, earth, light, and fire. This beautiful artwork is located in the train station called "Beautiful island" in Kaohsiung. Many people like to take a picture here.
Next, The Pier-2 Art Center, tate avant-garde, experiment, and innovation as the concept of creation. Inside the art center, there are a variety of exhibitions even sometime having the concert and by seeing those exhibition, we can learn different kinds of culture.
Furthermore, the E-DA theme park. E-DA theme park is the first amusement park in Taiwan that uses ancient Greece as the background. Inside also has a biggest indoor playground in Taiwan. More importantly, in different season will have special events, such as, Christmas gala parade, performance etc.
Then, The Heart of love river. It is shaped like a heart and is on the love river so people call that the heart of love river. The scenery between morning and night is different, but both are beautiful. And, is a great place for taking pictures or having a walk.
Last, Bulao hot spring, in Chinese it mean "forever young" hot spring. It is very popular in Taiwan. It has slightly alkaline water so that it can alleviating fatigue. In addition, the Bulao also has the BBQ area beside the river, which attracts more visitor to come.
Overall, I highly recommend to visit Kaohsiung, I have been there for several times, and I hope I can go there again. It is a very beautiful place, and has many fun things you can do over there. It is suitable for the whole family to enjoy together.
